A few reasons to visit the Flying Poet when looking for a bite to eat or a delicious coffee in Kinsale...
Roelie van den Berg ★★★★★ Hele toffe plekRahel Bailie ★★★★★ I keep being drawn back to this eclectic cafe and book shop, with its good coffee and aviation themed library. (Haven't tried the food yet.) I managed to get the table with the overstuffed wingback chairs and have a visual treat trying to spot all the flying decorations on the walls. One iced coffee later, I'm off to explore, but promise myself to come back again, maybe with another visitor in tow as I introduce them to my favourite spots in KInsale.Barbara Azevedo de Pontes Lima ★★★★★ A very cozy place, and the food is delicious.Dr. Benjamin Martin ★★★★★ Lovely coffee with really friendly staff with unique atmosphereAisling Kenny senn ★★★★★ Wonderful. A stunning place. The book store next to it is also beautiful. The aviation pictures really make it a lively placeMarco Girardi ★★★★★ Thank you for having us. We came quite early and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with delicious food.Imogen Bertin ★★★★★ Enjoyed a nice coffee at the window table but my companion's green tea was weirdly weak? The maps inlaid on the tables were great, as we were discussing local history and placenames. The girls serving did a great job with the bizarre "cruise ship" rushes in traffic at this time of year. Can't say I ever associated Kinsale with aviation, but great theme, will visit again.Simon Fairbrother ★★★★★ Fly 1st class in every way…Brecht Ingels ★★★★★ Super lekkere Vanilla Chai Latte gedronken. Heel gezellig interieur en terrasje. Ik was mijn gsm vergeten of verloren op hun terras en ze hadden deze mooi aan de kant gehouden. Super dikke merci!!! Brecht (Belgium)Mark Wogan ★★★★★ Great coffee and loved the cakes. Such a cool spot!Mira Tharwat Khalifa ★★★★★ Loved their ice coffee but the service is a bit slow.unclenyarlathotep ★★★★★ Lovely coffee and friendly quirky place.Alan Noake ★★★★★ Nice small coffee stop, with flying memorabilia around.Helpful staff with great coffee and good atmosphere. Adrian Penciu ★★★★★ I have every day a lovely d espresso, I am Grateful !!!🍪☕️Ilona ★★★★★ Nice atmosphere and good foodRyushin Creedon ★★★★★ Delightful, quiet café. Mocha was rich. Carrot cake was fluffy and delectable.Robert Cumming ★★★★★ 1st time visiting this cafe and I was really impressed with the service and the lovely decor. The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious.Hector Penate ★★★★★ Sitio acogedor y las tostadas ricas, ricas, ricas.Burak Öçlü ★★★★★ I don’t recommend you to use the car park at the town centre. It is only 1.5 Euro per hour. Parking on the street would be annoying as it requires discs. The place is perfect. Coffees and deserts are wonderful. I recommend the palace families with the babies as well. There is no baby changing room if it is needed.Khushee Aug ★★★★★ A small cosy coffee place just a few steps from parking lot and harbour. Aviation enthusiast with inspiring interior. Sofas and cushions perfect for a date, family chats or even to work on your computer for a different vibe. Books on shelves to borrow if you’re a reader and a few on sale too. Atmosphere is great, lovely warm welcoming staffs including ex pilot of South African Airways we had a long lovely chat with.Weronika Ryfka ★★★★★ Best café in Kinsale! ⚓️I love their matcha 🍵 and their tuna melt sandwiches are TO DIE FOR 🤤.
